I was in my shower this morning when I realized (again) that DT and I were both living in NYC during the last few months of 2007 but it took him returning to London and me working in London for a few months for our own mini worlds to cross.
I wonder if I had ever walked right past him without knowing. Without having the slightest idea that just over a year later that we'd be as connected to each other as we were while I was in London and even now.
What would have happened if we had met back then? Probably nothing as he was dating someone at the time and we were probably both a bit different back then; would we even have been friends?
This takes me to my main point:-
Timing is everything. It's the difference between a stranger and a lifelong friend, between the same and a lover and the main thing guiding our experiences in life.
